An Inspiring Community Tradition presented by Fred Meyer Stores here at the Salem Convention Center. The event will be held Thursday, September 8th and doors open at 6:45am. The breakfast program will begin at 7:15 AM and end promptly at 8:45 AM. The event will honor extraordinary individuals from our community who have been selected from a field of nominations submitted by May 1, 2010. Community leaders from Lincoln, Marion and Polk Counties will have selected recipients in as many as nine categories. In addition to honoring local heroes, the event is used to raise awareness and money for local Red Cross services in our community. The event is ticketless; however, reservations are required and a donation will be accepted at the event.
