Since 1894, the University of Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State University Beavers football teams have met in a match-up called the 'Civil War', one of the most anticipated match-ups of the year. The 2012 Civil War Game will played at Reser Stadium (home to the Beavers) on Saturday November 24 and tickets are not easy to come by; but not to worry. The Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion & Polk Counties hosts the best Civil War party in town every year and we are happy to welcome them back! The ninth annual Bonaventure Senior Living Civil War Dinner & Auction will be held here Thursday, November 15th, 2012 and Ducks and Beavers fans are all invited to come together and raise money for a great cause. This exclusive dinner and auction benefits after-school and summer activities at the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion & Polk Counties. The event starts with a silent auction offering over 150 packages while guests mingle with the Duck and Beaver mascots and cheerleaders. Photo Booth is provided by Erich McVey Photography. The Silent Auction is followed by a gourmet dinner and live auction packed full of premiere vacations, experiences and coveted items. Tickets: $100 The Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk Counties promotes academic success, healthy lifestyles, character and leadership skills to approximately 10,500 kids in local clubs, athletics, and outreach programs. Their goal is to teach youth grades 1-12 positive self-image and self-reliance through comprehensive programs led by professionally trained staff.
