We were recently contacted by Oregon Business magazine and learned that the Salem Convention Center made the list of the 100 Best Green Companies to Work For in Oregon for the 2nd time! We first appeared on this list in 2012 when Andrew Insinga, Publisher of Oregon Business Magazine, announced The Salem Convention Center was #7 at the Oregon Business magazine's fourth annual celebration of the 100 Best Green Companies to Work For in Oregon. The 100 Best Green Companies are determined by an anonymous employee survey and an independent assessment of the employers' sustainability practices. Over 18,000 employees from 442 companies and nonprofits participated in the fifth annual green survey conducted last fall and spring. The 100 Best Green Companies will be celebrated at a luncheon Wednesday, May 29, at The Nines Hotel in Portland where Oregon Business magazine will reveal the company rankings with a 'Top 10 countdown' and unveil the June 2013 issue of Oregon Business magazine.
