The Salem Convention Center recognizes the numerous outstanding service organizations that make a real difference in our local community. One such organization is Family Building Blocks, a local group that works to preserve families and prevent child abuse & neglect in Marion-Polk counties,Oregon. Family Building Blocks provides therapeutic classes for children under six years old. They also provide parent education, home visits, & many other services to keep children safe and families together. The public is invited to learn more by attending the Family Building Blocks Dream Builders Luncheon here at The Salem Convention Center on Thursday October 25, 2012 from 12-1pm. The luncheon is a 60-minute presentation describing the work of Family Building Blocks and the extraordinary return on investment of helping children get off to a positive start in life. Guests leave the luncheon educated and motivated to make a difference. There is no cost to attend but reservations are required.
