Bonaventure Senior Living Annual Civil War Dinner & Auction is coming back to The Salem Convention Center and Salem Convention Center, Grand Hotel Salem and Bentley's Grill are joining forces again to help sponsor the event. The event, which starts at 5:30pm, is held each year in the spirit of the annual Oregon 'Civil War' when team rivals University of Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State University Beavers meet in a much anticipated football match-up. Tickets to the Civil War Dinner & Auction are $100 each and includes a gourmet dinner, beverages compliments of Gilgamesh Brewing and Columbia Distributing, fun with Duck and Beaver mascots and cheerleaders, an exciting silent and live auction, a photo booth provided by Erich McVey Photography, and more! The 2013 Civil War Game is Friday November 29, 2013 in Autzen Stadium in Eugene. The Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk Counties promotes academic success, healthy lifestyles, character and leadership skills to approximately 10,500 kids in local clubs, athletics, and outreach programs. Their goal is to teach youth grades 1-12 positive self-image and self-reliance through comprehensive programs led by professionally trained staff.
