We are proud to support the growing arts community in Salem and value our longstanding relationship with one of Salem’s most important organizations, The Salem Art Association (SAA). SAA provides a voice to art and cultural issues in the city of Salem, but did you know that the organization also presents the annual Salem Art Fair & Festival (one of the largest festivals of it’s kind in Oregon), provides special art programming in local schools, operates the Bush Barn Art Center, the Bush House Museum and more?
These valuable programs add a great deal to our community; but they need our support. SAA will host their 16th Annual Clay Ball at the Salem Convention Center on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Tickets to the popular social event are now on sale and include complimentary craft wine, a three-course meal, and a glamorous evening to remember.
In the spirit of this year’s theme, “Over the Top”, arts supporters are encouraged to buy their tickets early and grab the most fantastic vintage headwear you can get your hands on, whether it’s a classic bowler hat, driver’s caps or even an outrageous Kentucky Derby sunhat, anything goes! Auction packages this year range from a lease of a BMW 320i from BMW of Salem to original artwork in nearly any media from some of the most recognizable names in Salem and beyond. A full list of live auction packages will be listed online prior to the event. A special prize will be awarded for the best hat in the house.
