1. Lemonade Day Salem-Keizer

Support kid-operated lemonade stands throughout our area on Saturday, May 19th! Lemonade Day is a FREE community-wide, educational initiative designed to teach children how to start, own and operate their own business—a lemonade stand! Click here to find stand locations and to learn more.

2. COUNTRY Financial Kids Relays

COUNTRY Financial, the Optimist Club of Salem and the City of Salem Public Works Department Parks & Transportation Services Division are partnering together to present the COUNTRY Financial Kids Relays on Saturday, May 19th 8 AM PDT at McCulloch Stadium. For more than four decades, thousands of youth from Salem, Ore., have participated in a unique and teamwork-friendly relay competition. Click here for more information and event schedules.

3. Teen Chopped Challenge at Saturday Market

Salem Saturday Market is one of our favorite weekly events in downtown Salem. Come check out local vendors selling homemade goods and local produce every Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm now through October! Up-and-coming chefs will be competing in a heated kitchen competition on May 19th at the Salem Teen Chopped Challenge from 10 am – 2 pm!  Click here for more information.

4. Enchanted Forest

This beloved Oregon attraction/Theme Park located just 5 miles from the Salem Convention Center. Visitors enjoy the mystical forests and handcrafted feel to this popular attraction.
